Battery Act Information

Every consumer is legally obligated to return all used batteries and accumulators in accordance with the German Battery Act. Disposing of them in household waste is prohibited. Used batteries and accumulators can be returned free of charge to public collection points in your municipality, in our stores, and wherever batteries and accumulators of the same type are sold. You can also return the batteries we supplied to the following address after use:

By doing this, you are making a significant contribution to environmental protection. Batteries or accumulators containing pollutants are marked with the following symbols to indicate the prohibition of disposal in household waste. Beneath the symbol, the chemical symbol for the heavy metal is specified:
